“Four years ago I joined my local club of Harrogate Nova CC and got involved in their TT evening league. From this, my love for the sport grew indefinitely and eventually I needed to try my hand at other areas of the sport.
“Thankfully, there were many of whom in the club participated in cyclocross and I began competing in races when I could. I got my backside handed to me week in, week out but the disappointment fuelled my desire to train harder, get faster and win some races. Then in the 2014/2015 season I won the junior category of the Yorkshire Cyclocross Association.
“In 2015 I was asked to become a founding member of Prologue RT. I feel the whole year was an achievement; competing for an up-and-coming team.
“What I am looking forward to most for the 2016 season is competing in as many national events as possible and this prospect is looking good now that the team has expanded with a strong junior squad, which will be a force to be reckoned with.”
