“After successfully establishing Prologue RT last year I’m now really excited to be taking on some new riders for 2016. I hope to give the knowledge I gained over my years of racing back to these very talented riders and further grow a competitive race team.

“I began racing aged 12 with Glendene CC. I learnt my craft at Eastway. I became Eastern Region and London Criterium Champion and runner up in the Essex Junior RR Champs.

“Once I moved North to University in Teesside, I was lucky to have the chance to ride regularly with Paul Curran and Chris Newton who at the time were winning the Star Trophy/Premier Calendar races on a weekly basis.

“After uni I moved to Yorkshire then broke my leg playing football. I used my – now slightly retro – Condor race bike for rehab. I haven’t looked back since. I managed to win races and start some local rivalries. While in Yorkshire I raced for Bannatyne Fitness, Briganti RT, Boneshakers and recently my own club Patron with good friend Glen Turnbull.

“I competed at the top level in Premier Calendars and Elite Crit Series races but struggled with a full-time job. Since dropping down to 2nd category it’s been more manageable for me to consistently achieve top 10 placings and stay at this level.

“In June 2015 I became a veteran! My personal ambitions for 2016 includes featuring in the vets divs. But by managing the Prologue Racing Team I will gain huge personal reward by watching my riders develop their talent and gain some success in winning races.”
